My expertise includes working with children from infancy to age 12 and leading teams of educators to create meaningful learning experiences. I believe in the power of thematic curriculum and experiential learning, where children explore concepts through hands-on activities, real-world connections, and creative problem-solving.

My approach centers on fostering inclusivity, ensuring that every child– regardless of their background or learning needs– feels valued, confident, and inspired to learn. This is further enhanced by collaborating with Early Interventionists to provide additional support for children who may require tailored learning approaches, helping them reach their full potential.

Through close partnerships with families, educators, and specialists, I strive to create a supportive and enriching environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a love for learning. Prior to joining the early intervention team, I was a consultant speech pathologist with private therapy centres back in my hometown for children having delays in feeding, language and speech. I have more than 15 years of experience working with children with autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, down syndrome, and other developmental conditions.

My aim is to help individuals achieve optimal communication skills to the best of their abilities through proper assessment, suitable placement and planning, and active team collaboration. It is vital for me to implement holistic strategies for an individual's needs in order to aid in further development and coping across different environments.

I believe that all individuals should be given the platform for opportunities to grow with the right support and careful consideration of every child's needs.

My background includes overseeing and ensuring smooth delivery of operations in the preschools. I strongly believe that the power of learning is transformational when teachers are working closely with individuals in various stages of learning and development. I also believe that collaboration between teachers and parents plays an important role in the child’s development and preparedness for success in their future.

Having experience working in inclusive preschools which offer early intervention programmes that focus on supporting children with diverse learning needs in mainstream settings has enabled me to understand a wide range of developmental needs and empower teachers with a vast array of learning tools to help children socially, emotionally, and adaptively.

As a father of two, I believe that parents are the most important teachers in a child’s life as parents build cultural and moral foundations in our children that will build bridges between the school and home. Mohideen has held senior roles, including Vice Principal at MINDS School and Project Director at The Special People, demonstrating his expertise in teaching and leadership within the special education field.

I have been in the medical line for the past 20 years. I started off as a staff nurse in the hospital and clinic for more than 10 years. Subsequently, I progressed into the pharmaceutical line with an MNC company and was involved in a laboratory with medical research works. Over the years, I developed a strong interest and passion for working with young children, particularly in understanding their behaviour, development, and individual needs.

This inspired me to pursue a career in early childhood education. I am a graduate of Speech and Language Pathology with several years of experience supporting children with developmental delays, speech and language difficulties, and social communication needs. Throughout my career, I have worked with children in both individual and group settings, doing assessments, planning therapy sessions, and personalised intervention plans based on each child’s abilities and needs.

I am a firm believer that communication is just not about saying words and making gestures, it is also about understanding and being understood in different ways possible. I aim to help children find their voice and the best way for them to communicate at home, in school, and in different settings in the community.

I also had the opportunity to train using the PROMPT technique and be able to use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems to support children with different communication challenges. I am passionate about creating fun yet meaningful learning experiences where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to communicate confidently.

I remain committed to continuous learning and professional development so that I can provide effective, evidence-based, and child-centred support to every child under my care. I believe that the best outcomes happen when parents, teachers, therapists, and other professionals work hand-in-hand in helping the children make meaningful progress.
